Welcome to Midway

Midway is a member of LMC, a larger fellowship of anabaptist churches. LMC is “a 300 year-old organization of more than 200 congregations with rich diversity, many complexities, and a culture that is ever-changing.” Historically, the term “Anabaptist” literally means “to rebaptize,” as these Christians rejected infant baptism and began a practice of rebaptizing those from the Catholic and Protestant churches in the 16th century.

The mission of LMC is to be a spirit-led movement that makes disciples of Jesus, mobilizes every member as a missionary, and multiplies faith communities locally and beyond. Midway supports the work of LMC through financial donations and through our local mission to be a welcoming community nurturing followers of Jesus.
